1. Will these boots actually stay on?

A boot that only sits around the paw has nothing holding it up when the dog lifts its leg. Here an H-shaped strap over the back holds the boots up like braces, and hook-and-loop straps at the paw, leg and back let you set the fit exactly.

2. How do I find the right size?

Let your dog stand naturally with weight on the paw and measure the paw at its widest point. S takes 5.6 cm, M 5.8 cm and L 6.6 cm. The weight guide runs from 7 to 45 kg across the range, but the paw width decides. If your dog falls between two sizes, choose the larger one.

3. What is included in the set?

Four boots with a high shaft, one H-shaped back strap with buckle and one set of leg straps with hook-and-loop. A collar is not included.

4. My dog hates boots. How do I get it used to them?

Put them on indoors for a few minutes with treats, let your dog walk around on the floor and take them off before it gets irritated. After three or four short sessions it usually clicks.

5. How do I look after them?

Hand wash them, rinse off road salt after the walk and let them air dry before the next outing. Take the boots off indoors, keep an eye on your dog while it wears them and check the paws afterwards, especially between the pads.
