How do I choose the right size?

Go by the chest girth first, then check the neck and back length. Weight is only a guideline, and if your dog falls between two sizes take the larger one.

What does the chin float do?

It sits at the front and lifts the head so the nose stays clear of the water. It makes the biggest difference for short-nosed breeds, puppies and older dogs, and it can simply be taken off if your dog does not need it.

Can I lift my dog out of the water with it?

Yes. There is a reinforced lift handle on the back for bringing your dog up out of the water, the boat or the poolside, plus a D-ring for the lead when you are walking along the jetty.

Will it stay in place while my dog swims?

Adjustable straps, hook-and-loop fastenings and quick-release buckles let you pull it close to the body without restricting the front legs. Fit it on dry land and leave room for two fingers between the strap and the coat.

How do I look after it?

Rinse off salt, chlorine and sand after swimming and let it air dry completely before storing. The breathable mesh underside drains so the jacket dries instead of staying heavy.
