I wanted to test it out before writing a review, and it really does work a treat!
It arrived well packaged and the English manual made everything easy to understand.

A really good addition to the rest of our dog's dental care - once a week seems to be enough. It takes minimal effort, gives good results and the dogs are fine with it.
I've been using the Detixy ultrasonic scaler and started removing tartar from my cat's teeth a few weeks ago. The cat was already used to electric tooth brushing from before.
The ultrasound is incredibly effective, doing a little each time. I use the highest setting and reward the cat before and after so it becomes a positive experience.
Hard to hold their head still because they pull away when the scaler reaches their teeth.

It seems to work pretty well on tartar, but my dog found it horrible, so I'm not sure how I'll be able to use it going forward. I didn't even manage to get it off a couple of teeth as she was so anxious and scared.
I've got two dogs, one who's happy to go along with most things and one who's naturally sceptical. My oldest dog is calm, relaxed and trusts me. It worked brilliantly on him, he's got some surface tartar. It's effective, but you can hear and feel it when the metal vibrates against the tooth.
My other dog, a female who's more sensitive about everything, I'll now have to slowly get used to just having her teeth touched. She finds it scary.
I do think, though, that with a bit of patience, calm and some nice treats, I can get her to go along with it.
It does seem very effective, I could probably even use it on myself if needed.
