Three different cleaning tasks

The ear wipes fit over a finger for visible outer-ear cleaning. Eye-area pads clean externally around the eyes, while dental wipes are for oral hygiene. Do not swap one formula for another.

Keep handling gentle

Allow your cat to settle before a brief cleaning session and stop if they resist or appear uncomfortable. Eye products should not touch the eyeball, and ear wipes should not enter the canal. Pain, swelling or unusual discharge needs veterinary advice, not repeated wiping.

Checking for ticks

The tick kit contains reusable tools for coat checks and tick removal. It is not a preventive treatment. Use the relevant tool instructions and ask a vet for help if the tick is awkwardly positioned or you are unsure.

Protection is a separate choice

Choose the correct tub

Similar packaging can hide different applications. Keep the eye pads separate from the ear wipes, and read the label before starting. Use fresh single-use material as directed and close the lid immediately afterwards so the remaining wipes do not dry out.

Make oral care manageable

The dental finger wipes are a compact oral-hygiene option for a cat who tolerates the handling involved. Introduce contact gradually and keep the session brief. They do not replace assessment of gum disease or painful teeth, and discomfort is a reason to stop rather than press harder.

Keep tools ready

A tick kit is easier to use when the pieces are clean, dry and stored together. Inspect the comb and removal tools before each use and follow the appropriate method for the individual tool. If you cannot remove a tick confidently, seek help instead of repeatedly pulling at the area.

Can the eye pads be used as eye drops?

No. The TailCare eye pads are for external cleaning around the eyes, not application to the eyeball. Seek veterinary advice about pain, redness, swelling or unusual discharge.

Which parts of the ear can I wipe?

Use the ear wipes only on the outer ear and visible folds. Do not insert a wipe or finger into the canal. Stop if your cat is uncomfortable rather than continuing a forced cleaning session.

Are dental wipes a replacement for dental treatment?

No. The dental wipes are routine hygiene aids. Pain, bleeding or established deposits need veterinary assessment; a wipe cannot establish or treat the cause.

Is the tick kit appropriate for cats?

The tick removal kit lists cat use and contains a comb plus removal tools. Follow the individual tool instructions and seek help if removal is incomplete or you are unsure. It does not prevent future tick attachment.

Does an ultrasonic tick tag provide proven protection?
