Grooming & Care

75 products

Grooming and care starts with the job in front of you: loose undercoat, muddy paws, a tidy-up between appointments or the towel after a bath. Browse tools for dogs and cats, from the FurFusion deshedding tool to a cordless grooming kit, and choose equipment that suits your pet as well as your routine.

Grooming for each coat

A brush that feels useful on a dense undercoat may be the wrong tool for a fine, curly or tangled coat. Compare tooth shape, working width and the areas the tool is designed for. The FurFusion deshedding tool has two blade widths. If you are unsure about your pet's coat, ask a groomer before choosing a blade or rake.

Clipping or small touch-ups?

A body clipper, a narrow paw trimmer and scissors handle different tasks. The grooming kit combines a cordless clipper with guide combs and separate hand tools. Check the included cutting lengths and compatible replacement parts. A kit does not make every grooming task suitable for home use; ask a professional about tight mats, sensitive areas or a reluctant pet.

Drying after a wash

Compare the way you will hold and store a dryer, its controls and the animal's tolerance of airflow. The Petdryer hose dryer places the main unit on the floor and supplies several nozzles. Follow that model's instructions, supervise throughout and stop if your pet is uncomfortable. Do not assume a higher setting is better.

Choose the right department

Use dog grooming and care or cat grooming and care for a more focused browse. Both contain everyday coat and hygiene tools, but not every item suits both animals. Equestrian tools have their own place in For Horses, while Pet Pharmacy covers selected care preparations and tick-related accessories.

Pet grooming and care: your questions answered

Still have a question?

How do I choose a brush for my pet?

Start with coat structure, the task and the area you want to groom. A deshedding tool is different from a finishing brush or a comb for individual tangles. Compare the FurFusion tool with the other options, and ask a groomer if you do not know which tool is suitable for your pet's coat.

Does every pet need clipping?

No. Choose clipping equipment only when it suits the coat and the intended task. The cordless grooming kit offers different guide combs, but it does not establish which length your pet needs. A qualified groomer can advise before you attempt a full clip, difficult mats or work around sensitive areas.

Can I use the same tools for a dog and a cat?

Only if the specific tool lists both animals and suits their size, coat and tolerance. A shared department is not blanket compatibility. Use dog grooming and cat grooming to narrow the options, then check the individual product and clean tools as instructed between uses.

Are spare blades and attachments universal?

No. Match the spare to the exact device rather than just its brand or general shape. The grooming-kit replacement blades are listed for that kit. Check the connector or head specification and contact us before ordering if your model is not explicitly named.

What should I compare when buying a pet dryer?

Compare controls, nozzle options, hose reach, storage space and the power connection. The Petdryer hose dryer keeps the main unit on the floor. Follow the supplied instructions, supervise your pet and stop if they show discomfort; advertised power or noise figures alone do not establish suitability.
