What is the footplate like?

It has a wide 120 mm footplate with a removable anti-slip rubber plate in a pyramid pattern for a secure grip, even in rain and mud.

What are they made from?

They are made of high-quality stainless steel rather than iron, giving a polished, rust-resistant and hard-wearing finish.

Which disciplines are they suited to?

They work for jumping, dressage, hacking, training and competition, and fit standard stirrup leathers.

Are they sold as a pair?

Yes, they come as a complete pair of stirrups ready to use.

I'm pretty fussy about this sort of thing and they're just the right width for my foot. The stainless steel still looks great after a whole season. I'll be ordering another one.

I ordered one to try and was pleasantly surprised. Feels much safer than the old ones. I appreciate that the stainless steel still looks good after a whole season. Does exactly what it should.

I've shopped here before and I'm never disappointed. Feels far safer than the old ones. Good that the weight feels just right too.

I've shopped here before and I'm never disappointed. They feel solid and sturdy underfoot. The stainless steel still looks great after a whole season.

Ordered it for the summer cottage and it feels much safer than the old ones. The measurements matched the description. I just wish it had come with a spare part in the pack.

We'd tried two other versions before and these feel solid and stable underfoot. The stainless steel still looks great after a whole season. The step surface gives really good grip. Simple and it works, just how you want it.
